Is the service reachable?
Checks come from outside your network, so they show what customers and partners on the internet actually experience: web pages, ping, TCP ports, DNS and certificate expiry.
Outside monitoring from Vigilance Business Systems
Vantage checks your services from outside your network, alerts the people who should respond, and helps you tell affected people what is happening, so a small team can handle an outage without guessing.

Three questions, answered
Checks come from outside your network, so they show what customers and partners on the internet actually experience: web pages, ping, TCP ports, DNS and certificate expiry.
The people or team you name are alerted when a service is down, by the channel you set up with us, for example email or a webhook into the tools you already use. Other channels are confirmed with you at setup.
Customers and colleagues should hear what is happening in plain words, and you should have an account afterwards. What that looks like for your services is agreed with you at the start.
How it works
Tell us which services matter: the ones customers, partners or your own team depend on.
Vantage checks each service on a schedule, from outside your own network.
The people you name are alerted when a service is down.
We agree with you how affected people are told what is happening, and what record of an outage you keep.
Who it is for
Know when it stops answering, and have an account of what happened when a customer asks.
Look after several services without a full operations desk: one place that says what is down and who has been told.
Watch the endpoints partners use, and tell them honestly when something is wrong.
Read what Vantage does, or see how it is quoted. Vantage tells you a service is unreachable and alerts the people you named. It does not repair services or scan them for security problems. Connections to your own tools are set up with you, and we say plainly what connects today.
Get started
Vantage is provided to customers of Vigilance Business Systems under a service agreement. Getting started is by enquiry: tell us which services you want watched and who should respond.
